Up to date 11,500 micro and CSI entrepreneurs have been benefited out of 750 broad types of trainings.
25 cottage and small industries within Kathmandu valley and more than 75 industries from outside the valley have been facilitated with intervention program on productivity improvement through cleaner production and green productivity.
Hundreds of national workshops were conducted on various subjects related to policy, production, promotion and management of the member industries and issues on WTO, IP, SAFTA, BIMSTEC, Corporate Social Responsibility.
More than 500 FNCSI member entrepreneurs have attended international workshop and seminar in different topics, especially the program organized by Asian Productivity Organization (APO) in different APO member countries and other international government as well as non-governmental organizations.
d. Market promotion, exhibition and trade fair
FNCSI has established Himalayan Trade Point Kathmandu (HTPK) in collaboration with Trade Promotion Center (Govt. of Nepal) and World Trade Point Federation (WTPF) under the initiation of UNCTAD.
FNCSI has conducted nine national and one SAARC level exhibition and trade fair.
300 member enterprises have already participated in international trade fairs and exhibitions abroad.
FNCSI represents in more than 22 high level steering committees formulated by Gov. of Nepal and international line agencies.
FNCSI partners with 21 governmental, non-governmental and international donor agencies.
f. Institutional Strengthening
The Federation of Nepal Cottage and Small Industries (FNCSI) has initiated and established "Nepal Cottage and Small Industries Development Bank" in Kathmandu to facilitate the CSI sector in general.
g. International Relation
Since its inception, FNCSI has been maintaining its international relationship with the organizations and institutions working for betterment of MCSIs. FNCSI has established cordial relationship with counterparts working in different countries.
